BANGKOK, 2021年11月22日 - (亚太商讯) - 泰国公共卫生部已与 RxLeaf World Medica 签署了关于建立国际医用大麻研究中心的谅解备忘录（MOU）。最新的动向是泰国成为世界级大麻生产和开发中心计划的一部分。该中心旨在成为医用大麻基因研究的知识中心，汇集来自加拿大、荷兰等国家的医生、研究人员、专家进行大麻产品研发，同时交流医用大麻知识。
泰国副总理兼公共卫生部长 Anutin Charnvirakul 先生表示，该部一直在推广医用大麻及其安全治疗。根据这项研究，大麻可以治疗各种疾病，如癌症、癫痫、多发性硬化症伴肌肉疼痛和神经痛。
